Our group welcomes all who are interested in diving into God's word more intentionally. We utilize LifeChange Bible Study guides in our group, and will be taking a closer look at The Gospel of Matthew this session. You spend an hour during the week preparing independently, and we come together to support each other's application and understanding journey.
If you have kids bring them, we have kids too. The children play together, while the adults have their discussion.

GRIT + GRACE
Sunday Evenings
Online through ZOOM 8:00-9:00PM
Begins Sunday April 26th, 2026
Learn More
Grit & Grace is a life group for single moms who know the grit and grace it takes to raise kids, run a home, and keep moving forward.
The group will meet online via Zoom on Sunday nights from 8–9 pm, after the kids are in bed and you are finally able to take a breath and get refreshed for the week ahead.
This is a place to connect with other moms who get it—the struggles, the wins, and everything in between. We will talk about faith, share a lesson, and encourage one another. Without a doubt we will laugh with each other...and likely at ourselves too!
Belinda Mercer will facilitate the group. She’s a mom who understands firsthand the grit and grace it takes to parent and manage a home while continuing to grow in her own relationship with Jesus.
No need to prepare anything ahead of time. You'll just click in and let the conversation begin.

Our group is a supportive community of single moms coming together to strengthen our faith and grow closer to Jesus. We understand the unique challenges of raising children on our own, and we provide a safe space where we can share our stories, offer encouragement, and lift each other up in prayer. Through Bible study, heartfelt conversations, and practical support, we help each other navigate the ups and downs of single motherhood while deepening our relationship with Christ. Whether you're struggling or thriving, you'll find a group of women who genuinely care, and together, we embrace the strength and grace God provides as we walk this journey of motherhood with faith, hope, and love.
Childcare will be provided; however, you must register so Cedarbrook can ensure the correct mandated caregiver to child ratio. (Last minute childcare may be available, but please contact Life Group Leader Dinah Kotthoff at dinahkskitchen@gmail.com to confirm.)

Do you ever feel insecure, rejected, or weighed down by a sadness you can’t explain? What if those feelings didn’t have to define your story?
We all carry moments that tested our faith and strength. But healing begins when we bring our pain to Jesus—the One who restores, renews, and redeems what feels beyond repair.
